No Classes Week of March 29th - April 5th.
Tuesday or Wednesday 5:00pm to 6:00pm Fee $96.
Tuesday or Wednesday 5:00pm to 6:30pm Fee $144.
Tuesday or Wednesday 5:00pm to 7:00pm Fee $192.
Thursday, Starting March 18th, 5:00-7:00pm Fee $80
If you want to do both Tuesday and Wednesday that is okay, fee will be doubled that of one day.
Payment is due by February 24th.
If you are planning on going to the State Tournament I am having three extra classes Thursday February 25th, March 4th, and March 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Fee $48
For Tuesday, Wednesday (5:00-7:00) and State Classes Fee will be $480, savings of 10%+

The Greater New York Scholastic Chess Championships
Presented by Kasparov Chess Foundation & Renaissance Knights. Crowne Plaza Hotel Northbrook, 2875 Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062. Format: four separate, one-day tournaments, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. Similar format to “The Greater New York Scholastic Chess Championships!” - America’s longest-running rated scholastic chess tournament. Each 5-SS, G/30. RDS: 10-12-2-3:30-5:15. Byes: Limit 2.
PRIMARY CHAMPIONSHIP (K-3) – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2010. 2 sections: 1. Varsity: open to all. Trophies: top 6 players, top 3 schools, top rated Under 900 and top 3 unrated. 2. Junior Varsity: Open to Under 700 or unrated. Trophies: top 6 players, top 3 schools, top rated Under 500 and top 3 unrated. Trophies to the top 3 Kindergartners!
JUNIOR HIGH CHAMPIONSHIP (K-8) – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2010. 2 sections: 1. Varsity: open to all. Trophies: top 6 players, top 3 schools, top rated Under 1200 and top 3 unrated. 2. Other awards: Any player who scores 4 or more points and doesn’t win a trophy will receive a medal! Entry Fee: $35 per player postmarked by 2/8/10. All EF $7 extra per player postmarked 2/9-15 (no mail accepted postmarked after 2/15). Mailed entries $5 less per player if 4 or more from same school mailed together in SAME ENVELOPE! Mail Entries: list name, rating USCF ID# (proof of current USCF membership required, enclose dues if necessary) school, grade, birth date, address & section. The 2010 Illinois State Scholastic Chess Championships
Pheasant Run Resort. 4051 East Main St, St. Charles, IL 60174. Sections: grades K-1 G/30 7SS, grades 2-3 G/45 7SS, grades 4-5 G/45 7SS, grades 6-8 G/60 7SS. Schedule: K-1: Saturday 10:00-12:30-2:00-3:30. Sunday: 9:00-10:30-12:00 Trophies ASAP. 2-3: Saturday 10:00-12:30-2:30-4:30. Sunday: 9:00-11:00-1:00. Trophies ASAP. 4-5: Saturday 10:00-12:30-2:30-4:30. Sunday: 9:00-11:00-1:00. Trophies ASAP. 6-8: Saturday 10:00-12:30-3:00-5:30. Sunday: 9:00-11:30-2:00. Trophies ASAP. Awards: Trophies to top 25 individuals in each section, Medals to 26th-100th place in each section, and Trophies to top 10 teams in each section.
